FRIDAY was founded in Berlin in 2017 with the support of the Swiss Baloise Group, by an experienced founding team. It was Germany’s first digital insurance to launch a motor insurance. Today the company is one of the fastest-growing across Europe.
In 2019 FRIDAY attracted more than 50 thousand new customers in Germany with its straightforward digital processes and products. One in two contracts was concluded into via the direct channel. FRIDAY’s products were awarded five times in Germany by renowned consumer organisations as Stiftung Warentest and leading media outlets as Auto Bild for their particular best value for money proposition. The quality is enabled by technology and data.
