FRIDAY is a technology company with an insurance license that builds digital products and digital services based on three fundamental values: simple, flexible, and sustainable. The company was founded in Berlin in 2017 with the support of the Swiss Baloise Group, by an experienced founding team. It was Germany’s first digital insurance to launch a motor insurance.

Our mission is to become the most popular digital insurer in Germany and beyond. To achieve this, we always strive to offer an insurance experience customers love. We create the most compelling technology company in the insurance industry by introducing products and services that bring peace of mind to customers. 

FRIDAY has attracted thousands new customers with its straightforward digital processes and products. FRIDAY’s products were awarded multiple times in Germany by renowned consumer organizations as Stiftung Warentest and leading media outlets as Auto Bild for their particular best value for money proposition.

FRIDAY Tech uses state of the art technologies only. We have​ cool stuff​ such as automated deployments (as in "no SIT or UAT, not even any manual testing, because it's automated"), all applications (including core system) in the cloud (as in "deployed in a kubernetes cluster on Amazon AWS) or metrics and prometheus and dashboards.
