About us
FRIDAY is one of the fastest-growing InsurTechs across Europe. The company was founded in 2017 by an experienced team, led by Christoph Samwer, and supported by the Swiss Insurance company Baloise Group. Since 2018, FRIDAY has been independent. We started with the first pay-per-kilometer car insurance product in Germany. Since then, a lot has happened and we expanded our product portfolio to household insurance and liability insurance, and in the meantime gained a foothold in France. With modern technology and digital innovation, FRIDAY is offering a fully digital experience.
We unite around 200 talents from all over the world with offices in Berlin, Luxembourg, Paris, and Warsaw and our main language of communication in FRIDAY is English. Caring for our employees, their ambitions, dreams, and challenges is what makes us a unique employer. FRIDAY Tech uses state of the art technologies only. We have cool stuff such as automated deployments (as in "no SIT or UAT, not even any manual testing, because it's automated"), all applications (including core system) in the cloud (as in "deployed in a kubernetes cluster on Amazon AWS) or metrics and prometheus and dashboards.
